The Colorado Ice announce an open tryout on Sunday, Jan 29th, 2012. The tryout will take place at Qdoba Events Center; 218 Smokey St., Fort Collins, CO 80525. Registration will begin at 10:00am with the tryout running from 11:00am-2:00pm.
Head Coach Heron O’Neal, along with the Ice coaching staff, will be evaluating players in a pro combine-style tryout. Some areas being tested are the 40 yard dash, 225 bench press, vertical jump, L-drill, and W-drill.
Registration fees are $50 for pre-registered participants and $60 the day of the tryout. Pre-registered participants may pay with check or credit card, same day walk-up registration is cash only. Pre-registration will end on Thursday, January 26th, 2012 and is strongly encouraged as space is limited.
