Colorado ICE (2008) : Signed with the ICE on May 15 and played all five games following…ranked second on the team with 68 carries for 306 yards and a team-high nine rushing touchdowns…pulled in eight passes for 90 yards and a score…earned offensive Player of the Week honors after his effort in the 79-60 loss to Sioux City on May 24 where he posted a 100-yard rushing effort, good for the second in the league, scored a team-high four rushing touchdowns and returned a league-high 10 kickoffs for 278 yards, a long of 46 and had a league-high 328 all purpose yards…he matched his four rushing touchdown effort against Billings on May 31.

University of Colorado (2006): Played in all 12 games, all on special teams, and 11 on defense with seven starts, including the last six of the season at left cornerback (he started as the nickel back at Georgia)…had 48 tackles (36 solo, two for losses) in 460 snaps from scrimmage, with nine third down stops, two passes broken up, a forced fumble…over the last five games of the season, he posted 34 tackles, with a career-high eight at Oklahoma which he matched against Iowa State (six solo stops both times)…also had seven against Kansas State and six in his collegiate finale at Nebraska…for the second straight year, he was the team leader in special team points with 20, on the strength of 13 tackles (three inside-the-20), two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and a downed punt inside-the-20…also returned 10 kickoffs for 194 yards, averaging 19.4 per return with a long of 25.  2005 (Jr.): Played in all 13 games on special teams and in 11 on defense, including the Champs Sports Bowl; he made two starts (Kansas, Kansas State)…was in for 240 snaps from scrimmage during the regular season in posting 13 tackles (11 solo) on the season…had three pass deflections, two third down stops, a forced fumble and a recovery on defense, but he really made his presence known on special teams…led the Buffs in special team points with 16, on the strength of nine tackles (seven solo, one inside-the-20), three downed punts, two knockdown blocks and a fumble recovery…also led the team with a 20.8-yard average on 12 kickoff returns, with a long runback of 32 yards…in his first career start against Kansas, he was in on five tackles (all solo), with two passes broken up and a third down stop…made four tackles (three solo) against Clemson in the bowl game. 

Garden City Community College (2003-04): Earned second-team all Jayhawk Conference honors as a sophomore, when he was in on 63 tackles (46 solo, four for losses), with six interceptions, 25 pass deflections, two forced fumbles, one recovery, one blocked field goal and two downed punts inside the opponent 5…had three of his interceptions in a 71-21 win over Highland, when the Broncobusters set a school record with seven overall…GCCC was 5-5 on the year under coach Bob Larson…as a freshman, he played both offense (running back) and defense, rushing for about 400 yards and making four interceptions on defense. 

Cleveland HS: As a senior, he earned All-Midlands honors from both Prep Football Report and SuperPrep, as PFR ranked him as the No. 30 player in the region (and the fifth running back)…also earned first-team All-South, all-state, all-metro and All-Public High League honors, while being presented with the Demetrius Johnson athlete of the year award…as a junior, he earned All-South, all-metro and all-league honors…a three-year starter at tailback and kickoff return man, as a senior he rushed for 2,230 yards and 27 touchdowns, averaging just over 10 yards per carry…caught 20 passes for 260 yards and returned four kickoffs for touchdowns, owning an average of better than 40 yards per return…rushed for 1,300 yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior, and gained 1,100 while scoring 13 times as a sophomore…was a three-year starter on defense as well, registering 87 tackles as a senior at cornerback, when he had three interceptions, six pass deflections, two forced fumbles and five recoveries…he split time at corner and free safety, racking up 103 tackles, three interceptions and five PBU’s…top games his senior year came against Ozark, when he rushed for a career-high 303 yards and four touchdowns, with 358 all-purpose yards including 55 receiving…against Northeast (Arma, Kan.), he rushed for 284 yards and four scores…Cleveland was 8-3 and the Public High League champs his sophomore through senior seasons, but fell in the first round of the playoffs each year…lettered three times in basketball (7.0 points and 8.0 assists per game as a senior) and in track (sprints and relays, with bests of 10.7 in the 100 and 22.0 in the 200).
