The owners of the UIF have voted to permit the Sioux City Bandits and the Omaha Beef to switch conferences in 2008. 

The Bandits will leave the Western Conference and play in the Eastern Conference.  The Beef will leave the Eastern Conference and play in the Western Conference.

Even though the teams have switched conferences, the previously published 2008 UIF Game Schedule remains unchanged.
