FORT COLLINS, CO – The Colorado ICE (3-4) meet the Sioux City Bandits (1-6) this Saturday, May 16th in their first of three consecutive road games.
The ICE look to get back on the winning track after suffering two consecutive losses at home, the first against the Omaha Beef on May 2nd in the final 0.4 seconds of the game, and the second on May 9th to the Fairbanks Grizzlies. The Sioux City Bandits are also in need of a win, after having struggled most of the year with a 1-6 record, their only win coming against the Wichita Wild on April 25th.
“We came out a bit flat this past Saturday against the Fairbanks Grizzlies”, said ICE head coach Collins Sanders. “I think it was a good wake-up call for us. We are getting into the crunch time of the season with the playoffs just around the corner and need to step up all facets of our game. Both teams are hungry for a win.”
This Saturday’s game will be broadcast live via the Internet on the B2 network (B2tv.com) and on the radio on Northern Colorado’s ESPN affiliate KJMP AM 870. The following week’s ICE game is on the road Friday, May 22nd at 6 pm against the Omaha Beef.
