PROFILE:

Colorado Ice: 2008: Played 12 games for the Ice at defensive back…selected for the second year as a United Indoor Football League All-Star…tallied 55.5 tackles (35 solo, 41 assisted) which was fourth on the team and sixteenth in the league…recorded 3.5 TFL for eight yards…tied for first on the team and seventh in the league with four interceptions…had two pass breakups, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries, one a 41-yard return for a score…finished with 13 all purpose yards…had six tackles and one interception against Sioux Falls on June 6 to earn UIF Player of the Week honors…posted a season-high 6.5 tackles, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a pass breakup against Billings on April 10.  2007: Selected to the All-Star team as a defensive back…played 15 games…was second on the team with 51 solo tackles, 48 assisted and 75 total…had four TFL for 19 yards, one a sack for 14 yards…led the team with 13 pass breakups and six interceptions for 96 yards and two scores…his six picks ranked fourth in the league…his 44 yard interception return for a score in game five against Omaha was good for a team-high…returned two kickoffs for 30 yards…also led the team and was tied for third in the league with three forced fumbles.

Colorado State University 2005 (Senior): Had three tackles against Air Force…made seven stops versus Nevada…made his second career interception and was second on the team with eight tackles against Minnesota…credited with four stops at Colorado.  2004 (Junior): Led the team for the second-straight week with a career-best 19 tackles at Air Force…had a game-high 11 tackles to go with one interception, two passes defended and two tackles for yards lost against UNLV...had four tackles and played at safety for the majority of the game against San Diego State...key special teams player and saw time at safety against top-ranked USC making three tackles in the game...made one special teams tackle at Colorado.  2003 (Sophomore):  Moved from running back to defensive back and was credited for 12 tackles on the season...was a consistent special teams performer...posted two tackles against Wyoming...earned a scholarship after playing his freshman year as a walk-on...served as an intern in the CSU media relations office.  2002 (Freshman): Reserve running back and special teams player...carried for first time at San Diego State...carried twice for four yards.  2001: Redshirted after joining the program as a walk-on. 

Skyline HS: Named to All-State football team as a senior...played football, basketball and baseball at Skyline...earned three varsity football awards, two each in basketball and baseball...named All-League in each of the three sports as a junior and senior...named to All-State football team as a senior and led team to conference football crown in 1999...chosen the league MVP in football in 2000...rushed for 54 career touchdowns and 3,450 career yards, both school records.
