Douglas will be returning to the Ice after playing with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL in the 2011 season. Douglas played for the Ice in the 2010 season, competing in 9 games, before signing with Hamilton. While with the Ice, Douglas recorded 35 tackles, 1 interception, and 4 pass break-ups. Brooks will be returning to the Ice for his 2nd season. Brooks, one of the top rookie receivers in the league played in 14 games, recording 51 receptions, for 645 yards and 10 touchdowns. Brooks’ versatility allowed him to record 1,067 all purpose yards and 12 touchdowns; placing him 1st on the team and 13th in the league in all purpose yards.

Goodman joins the Ice after spending part of the 2011 season with the Wenatchee Valley Venom. While with Wenatchee, Goodman played in 10 games, accumulating 48 catches for 588 yards adn 16 touchdowns; placing him 2nd in catches and yards, and 1st in touchdowns for the Venom. Henderson will be returning to the Ice for his 2nd season. Henderson played in 5 games during the 2011 season, recording 11 catches for 154 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Knighton will be returning for his 3rd season with the Ice. Knighton played in all 15 games for the Ice in the 2011 season. In the 2011 season, Knighton completed 57% of his passes for 2,188 yards, 43 touchdowns with just 13 interceptions. Knighton finished 5th in the league for touchdown passes and had the 2nd fewest interceptions of any quarterback with at least 40 touchdown passes. Knighton also showed his athleticism throughout the season rushing for 323 yards and 2 touchdowns; placing him 2nd on the team in rushing yards. Harris was rated as the 29th best running back prospect in the 2011 draft class. Harris spent his final two seasons at UNC, where he quickly became a force; accumulating 1,336 rushing yards, 17 rushing touchdowns, 275 receiving yards and 1 receiving touchdown. Before UNC, Harris played at El Camino CC and West Lost Angeles JC. In those two season, Harris accumulated 633 rushing yards, 12 rushing touchdowns, 142 receiving yards and 1 receiving touchdown. Lovett spent his final two seasons at FHSU where he accumulated 82 tackles, 2.5 for loss, 7 interceptions, 1 fumble recovery, 14 pass break ups, 1 forced fumble and 1 touchdown. Lovett was also a threat on special teams as he had 989 return yards and 5 touchdowns on 38 returns. Before FHSU Lovett was at the University of Northern Colorado. After his Senior season Lovett earned an opportunity to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Allen was rated as the 55th best running back prospect in the nation for the 2011 draft class. During his career at Akron, Allen played in 46 games, accumulating 1,631 yards, 23 rushing touchdowns, 35 receptions, and 263 receiving yards. In his Senior season alone, Allen rushed for 877 yards, 8 touchdowns, 17 receptions and 115 receiving yards. Stevens was rated as the 31st best outside linebacker prospect in the 2011 draft class. In four season at Auburn, Stevens played in 50 games; including the 2010 BCS National Championship game, in which Auburn beat Oregon. Stevens recorded 252 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 1 interception, 1 fumble recovery and 1 touchdown. In the BCS National Championship, Stevens created many problems for Oregon, accumulating 5 tackles. Some honors Stevens accumulated while at Auburn are; Co-defensive MVP, SEC All Freshmen Team, Honorable Mention Freshmen All-American, and Preseason 2nd Team All-SEC.

Sanders was rated as the 40th best strong safety prospect in the 2010 draft class. Sanders’ versatility was shown throughout his 2 years at Baylor, in which he played Quarterback, Running Back, Linebacker, and Safety. Before Baylor, Sanders was a standout Quarterback at Navarro JC where he passed for 2,522 yards and 11 touchdowns; while also rushing for 827 yards and 12 touchdowns. While at Baylor, Sanders recorded 128 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 7 tackles, and 163 return yards.

Reynolds played at Alcorn University and Coahoma Jr College where he earned All-American awards and a Most Valuable Player award his senior season.  While with the Bakersfield Blitz of the af2, Reynolds put up some great numbers.  In four seasons he had 344 receptions for 4,871 yards and 107 touchdowns, in 65 games played.  Reynolds versatility as a wide receiver, safety, and kick returner will be a great addition to the Ice roster. Goodman is a 5’10”, 195 lb kicker from the University of Colorado, who was rated as the 34th best kicker prospect in the 2011 draft class.  Before coming to CU, Goodman spent one season at the University of Wyoming where he was named an Honorable Mention Freshman All-American after leading Wyoming in points scored; going 18-of-20 on PAT’s and 10-of-16 on field goals.  In his three seasons at CU, Goodman lead the team in scoring every season, ending his career tied for ninth on CU’s all time scoring list. Morris will be returning to the Ice for his 2nd season. Morris came to the Ice early in the 2011 season after spending time in the NFL and with various AFL Teams. Morris finished the season with 53 tackles, 7 interceptions, and 10 pass break-ups; placing him 1st on the team in interceptions and 5th on the team in tackles. NFL – Philadelphia Eagles

During his career at IUP, Robinson played in 32 games, recording 2,109 rushing yards, 18 rushing touchdowns, 171 receiving yards, 34 tackles, 1 interception for a touchdown and 870 kick return yards. Robinson played both running back and defensive back while at IUP.

Johnson will be returning for his 2nd season with the Ice. For the 2011 season, Johnson played in 11 games, recording 59 tackles, and 4 pass break-ups; placing him 4th on the team in tackles. Ingram was rated as the 44th best free safety prospect in the 2011 draft class. During his career at Ole Miss, Ingram played in 43 games, recording 133 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 4 pass break-ups, 5 interceptions, and 1 touchdown. In his senior season alone, Ingram had 63 tackles and 2 interceptions.

  Raiola is a 6’0”, 227 lb Linebacker from New Mexico Highlands University, who earned a contract with the Ice after a very impressive tryout.  Raiola’s athletic ability was evident throughout the combine style testing and on field drills, showing his potential and proving his past honors. During his time at NMHU, Raiola started in 30 games, accumulating 158 tackles, 28.5 tackles for loss, 12 sacks, 5 forced fumbles, and 5 fumbles recovered.  In his senior season alone, Raiola accumulated 61 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 3 fumbles recovered.  Raiola received numerous honors during his time at NMHU; including being named All-Conference. During his 2 year career at Troy, Greer ran for 440 yards and 5 touchdowns on only 66 carries; giving him 6.67 yards per carry.  Greer also had 8 receptions for 74 yards and 403 kick-off return yards.  Before his time at Troy, Greer played at Garden City Community College, where in his sophomore season he ran for 778 yards and 14 touchdowns.  Greer played his high school football at Mullen High School in Denver.

Etienne will be returning to the Ice for his 3rd season. Etienne was the only defensive player for the Ice to play in all 15 games of the 2011 season. Etienne accumulated 103 tackles, 3 sacks, 3 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles, and 10 pass break-ups; placing him 1st on the team and 12th in the league in tackles. Etienne received 2nd Team All IFL honors for the 2011 season. Paulo was rated as the 65th best inside linebacker prospect in the 2011 draft class. Applehans will be coming into the 2012 camp a veteran of 2 Seasons with the Ice.  In 2011, Applehans played in 11 games recording 45 tackles and 4.5 sacks; placing him 3rd on the team in sacks.

Schofield was rated as the 36th best center prospect in the 2011 draft class. During his time at Marshall, Schofield played in 34 games, starting in 3o of those contests. His consistency was rewarded with an All-Conference USA Honorable Mention his junior season and Conference USA Second Team after his senior season.

Perkins is a 6’4”, 285 lb defensive lineman from Syracuse University, who was rated as the 94th best defensive tackle prospect in the 2011 draft class. Perkins also has the versatility to play across the defensive line, as he was required to play numerous positions during his time at Syracuse. While at Syracuse, Perkins played in 46 games, recording 67 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, and 2 fumbles recovered. West is coming to the Ice after playing in the Colorado Football Conference Semi-Pro League. West is the first signing of the Ice staff in the past three seasons from an open tryout. A product of Montbello High School in Denver, CO; West committed to Weber State University but lifes path took him in another direction. The Ice staff look forward to seeing West in camp for the 2012 season.

Campbell was rated the 68th best offensive tackle prospect in the 2011 draft class. During his time at Marshall, Campbell played in 40 games, starting in 22.

Charles’ dominate blocking style and aggressive play earned him First Team All-WVIAC for his senior season.

Wesley Jones is a 6’5”, 360 lb. Lineman who played at Marshall University and was signed to rookie camp with the Washington Redskins. Jones was with the Lexington Horsemen of the AFL. Barrett will be returning for his 4th season with the Ice. Barrett played in 12 games in 2011, proving to be a dominate force in the balanced offensive attack.

Poku was rated as the 109th best wide receiver prospect in the 2011 draft class. Poku spent three seasons at ENMU, accumulating 204 receptions for 2,327 yards and 24 touchdowns. In his Senior season Poku recorded 86 receptions, for 932 yards and 11 touchdowns. Poku’s talent did not go unnoticed as he received many honors throughout his collegiate career; from both the Lone Star Conference and other various Division II organizations. After his Senior season Poku  signed with the Dallas Cowboys as a preferred free agent.

Hart played his final two collegiate seasons at Oklahoma State University, playing in 26 games. During his time at OSU, Hart recorded 35 tackles, 2.5 for loss, and one sack. Hart was a key player in the OSU win over Arizona in the 2010 Alamo Bowl. Before transferring to OSU, Hart attended Pearl River CC where he was rated 7th best JUCO defensive end prospect in the nation after his sophomore season.

Bradwell spent his final year of eligibility at Troy University after spending the previous season at Mississippi JC and Florida State University, respectively. During his Senior season Bradwell accumulated 36 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, 4 sacks , 1 fumble recovery and 1 touchdown. Bradwell has been on the Tampa Bay Bucaneers and St. Lious Rams rosters, was with the Georgia Force of the AFL and the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL.

Brooks was rated the 89th best defensive end prospect in the 2011 draft class. During his career at UNLV, Brooks played in 28 games, accumulating 76 tackles, 6 tackles for loss and 3 sacks. For his Senior season, Brooks had 38 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss and 3 sacks. His Senior season performance earned him an invite to the Dixie Gridiron Classic All-Star Game. Nelson is a 6’4”, 281 lb defensive lineman from The University of Tennessee. Coming out of high school Nelson was one of the most sought after defensive lineman as he was named a Prep Star All-American. His combination of size, power, and speed earned Nelson playing time during his true freshman season at Tennessee. His versatility saw him taking snaps as a defensive end as a freshman and as a defensive tackle as his career ended at Tennessee. Nelson received interest from numerous outdoor and indoor organizations because of his pedigree and athletic ability; and will be one of the newcomers on the defensive line that will bring a big, physical style of play to the Ice front.

Barnett will be returning for his 3rd season with the Ice. During the 2011 season, Barnett played in 12 games, recording 33 tackles, 4 sacks, and 1 interception; placing him 4th on the team in sacks.
