Brooks will be returning to the Ice for his 2nd season. Brooks, one of the top rookie receivers in the league played in 14 games, recording 51 receptions, for 645 yards and 10 touchdowns. Brooks’ versatility allowed him to record 1,067 all purpose yards and 12 touchdowns; placing him 1st on the team and 13th in the league in all purpose yards.

Goodman joins the Ice after spending part of the 2011 season with the Wenatchee Valley Venom. Knighton will be returning for his 3rd season with the Ice. Knighton played in all 15 games for the Ice in the 2011 season. In the 2011 season, Knighton completed 57% of his passes for 2,188 yards, 43 touchdowns with just 13 interceptions. Knighton finished 5th in the league for touchdown passes and had the 2nd fewest interceptions of any quarterback with at least 40 touchdown passes. Knighton also showed his athleticism throughout the season rushing for 323 yards and 2 touchdowns; placing him 2nd on the team in rushing yards. Stevens was rated as the 31st best outside linebacker prospect in the 2011 draft class. In four season at Auburn, Stevens played in 50 games; including the 2010 BCS National Championship game, in which Auburn beat Oregon. Stevens recorded 252 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 1 interception, 1 fumble recovery and 1 touchdown. In the BCS National Championship, Stevens created many problems for Oregon, accumulating 5 tackles. Some honors Stevens accumulated while at Auburn are; Co-defensive MVP, SEC All Freshmen Team, Honorable Mention Freshmen All-American, and Preseason 2nd Team All-SEC.

Sanders was rated as the 40th best strong safety prospect in the 2010 draft class. Sanders’ versatility was shown throughout his 2 years at Baylor, in which he played Quarterback, Running Back, Linebacker, and Safety. Before Baylor, Sanders was a standout Quarterback at Navarro JC where he passed for 2,522 yards and 11 touchdowns; while also rushing for 827 yards and 12 touchdowns. Jessie Poku

Number: 85 Position: WR

Poku was rated as the 109th best wide receiver prospect in the 2011 draft class. Poku spent three seasons at ENMU, accumulating 204 receptions for 2,327 yards and 24 touchdowns. In his Senior season Poku recorded 86 receptions, for 932 yards and 11 touchdowns. Poku’s talent did not go unnoticed as he received many honors throughout his collegiate career; from both the Lone Star Conference and other various Division II organizations. After his Senior season Poku  signed with the Dallas Cowboys as a preferred free agent.

Darius Hart

Number: 91 Position: DL

Hart played his final two collegiate seasons at Oklahoma State University, playing in 26 games. During his time at OSU, Hart recorded 35 tackles, 2.5 for loss, and one sack. Hart was a key player in the OSU win over Arizona in the 2010 Alamo Bowl. Before transferring to OSU, Hart attended Pearl River CC where he was rated 7th best JUCO defensive end prospect in the nation after his sophomore season.

Bradwell spent his final year of eligibility at Troy University after spending the previous season at Mississippi JC and Florida State University, respectively. During his Senior season Bradwell accumulated 36 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, 4 sacks , 1 fumble recovery and 1 touchdown. Bradwell has been on the Tampa Bay Bucaneers and St. Lious Rams rosters, was with the Georgia Force of the AFL and the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL.

Nelson is a 6’4”, 281 lb defensive lineman from The University of Tennessee. Coming out of high school Nelson was one of the most sought after defensive lineman as he was named a Prep Star All-American. His combination of size, power, and speed earned Nelson playing time during his true freshman season at Tennessee. His versatility saw him taking snaps as a defensive end as a freshman and as a defensive tackle as his career ended at Tennessee. Nelson received interest from numerous outdoor and indoor organizations because of his pedigree and athletic ability; and will be one of the newcomers on the defensive line that will bring a big, physical style of play to the Ice front.
