 Colorado Ice Win and Take #1 Ranking

Fort Collins, CO – The Colorado Ice take the win with a score of 32 -12 over the Nebraska Danger. This win puts the Ice at #1 in the Conference and League with a record of 5 and 1.

The Ice defense controlled the Danger in the second half of the game. With a strip of the ball from Danger quarterback Sewell (10), Greg Jackson (11) had the runback for a touchdown with 10 tackles for the night. Jovan Jackson (24) had an interception in the 3rd quarter put the Ice in winning position. Michael Stover (97) again player a fierce game having 2 sacks and a blocked kick.

Ice offense had 3 touchdowns, 2 passing and 1 rushing. Willie Copeland (13) connected with Matthew Roark (4) for his first touchdown in the IFL, while Kyle Kaiser (3) had a diving catch in the end zone for the second touchdown. Cordera Eason (28) had one rushing touchdown with a break out run for 32 yards.

Greg Jacksons (11) performance tonight makes him the Runza player of the game and you can meet him at Runza of Loveland on Tuesday, April 16th from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

The Ice will see action next Saturday night against the Sioux Falls Storm in Sioux Falls. The next Ice home game is May 18th and is the Agfinity, Inc. Ad day. Bring out the kids and have a great time.
